KERDI BOARD is the ideal substrate for tile installation particularly in bathrooms. The panels are lightweight, quick and easy to install.
KERDI BOARD is the ideal substrate for tile installation particularly in bathrooms. The panels are lightweight, quick and easy to install. They are waterproof and eliminate dust when cutting to fit. For commercial applications, typically a 5/8" panel is used to install over metal studs. The KERDI BOARD ZT washers are used along with self tapping metal screws. (These screws should be purchased separately and are not offered through Schluter®-Systems). Any penetrations in the KERDI-BOARD should be waterproofed with KERDI-BAND, including cut sections over the washer/screw areas.
